Welcome to the South Australian Sea Rescue Squadron Web Site


Should you require urgent assistance at sea, then call our Radio Base "Sea Rescue Adelaide" by radio on VHF 16 or by 27mz radio on 27.88 between the hours of 7am and 6pm 7days a week.

If you wish to use your Mobilephone you may call the Radio Base on 82955062  or 82955072 during the above hours. 


Anytime of day / night it is preferable you phone the Police on "131444" or "000" who will co'ordinate the rescue groups in assisting you.


About Us :
 
We are a volunteer Marine Rescue Centre serving the Boating public around South Australia.

Base's reside in the Adelaide Metro area, Wirrina, Edithburg and Copper Coast. 

  Sea Patrol's are carried out on Weekends and Public holidays unless weather conditions restrict them.

  Marine radio base stations are scattered throughout the state and keep a listening watch on all of the

      marine radio emergency channels.
